Well the truth about my experience with godaddy. I will tell you the good and the bad in a very unbiased assessment of Godaddy hosting.
Lets start with the bad.
- Long Wait For Support by phone
- Technical Support was lacking
- Could not handle my php scripts
So if you have a website you know how important it is for your website to be live. When you have problems you have problems with godaddy. I am running very complex scripts on some of my websites. They just could function properly. So this was terrible. I tried transferring my website and I could not do it. That was a big let down for me and I could not work with godaddy.
The Good!
Like I said I will tell you what is good about godaddy.
- Price is cheap
- If it doesn’t work out… They refund you
So this is where I end with godaddy. I bought two years worth of hosting because I wanted to save on hosting for the long run. My website did not work on their servers and they refunded me for the remaining 23 months.
So if godaddy works for you great but I do not believe that they are the best hosting! But for me I could not work with them. You will read many other places that people have problems with godaddy when it comes to technical support.
